5 minutes of gentle stretching for the hips. This video focuses not only on stretching the hips but isolating the low back (lumbar spine) from the hips. This requires the core and so you will also be doing some core focus here without even realizing it. This does place a stretch on the hamstring and thus the sciatic nerve. If you are experiencing radicular symptoms in your legs (acute numbness, tingling or burning pain) this is not the video for you. You will end with engaging the gluteal muscles, the largest muscles of the hips.
